I told you, and you didn't listen.

Okay so here's the thing. Back when everyone was filing taxes, a lot of people, and I mean a lot of people, kept telling me that we were getting a stimulus check this year. At that time all I ever really did was watch MSNBC News, so I knew a lot about the stimulus plan. In watching the news every single day, I never once heard anything about getting a check. MSNBC reports mostly on politicals. All I ever heard that we would get out of this stimulus is a tax break. Everyone kept telling me differently. Mostly because someone, usually a tax preparer had told them differently. Either way, I remained skeptical, because I believed if we were going to get a check, we would know by now.

And just I suspected, they were wrong. We aren't getting a check, just a tax break on the paycheck. In a sense, it's the same thing, but we aren't getting a physical check in the mail like we did last year.
